The bad part is a combination of things that have become more obvious with every visit: slow ass service, messed up orders, expensive food for what you actually get. I really enjoyed the ambience of being on the water that wasn't downtown. The pizza was a digiorno just double the price. There is also a stage inside and I saw a very entertaining Elvis impersonator show there, lol. Aside from everything else, the salmon was pretty delicious and cooked perfectly. The food is getting better. Whether watching the boats on the lake, listening to the talented entertainment, or concentrating on some fish and chips with your beer, this place is always cool on a warm evening. Well I just have to bump up to a 4 star, got to be the best place for Sunset! I usually come here with a group of friends on a boat, so we dock the boat and walk up to the restaurant.
They may want to think about toning it down a bit. My favorite is The George Brothers, who play a great mix of rock and soul covers. Great food is best enjoyed comfortably, so Brownie's on the Lake encourages less-than-fancy attire. I wish I had the servers name as she deserves a complement. I guess I see the appeal if you are into the boating lifestyle. The only complaint was the band they had on Sunday late afternoon. Almost every time, there are seats available, so seats should not be a problem. I have visited this restaurant at different days of the weeks and time as well.

But felt like this place needs a wake up call and needs new employees since all the ones I had tonight clearly do not belong in the service industry. Some items good, some just okay, some bad.
